Motorola Droid 4 - Soft Resetting


Soft Reset can resolve issues like continuous resetting/rebooting, device crashing,would not ring or vibrating, freezing,can't make or receive calls, device locks up, and keypad does not repond.
A soft reset Turning the device off and then back on is similar to restarting a desktop computer and is one of the first steps in troubleshooting a device. A soft reset won't affect data on the device.

Method 1
1. Press and hold the Power Key(Located on the top edge of the centre)
2. Tap Power off on screen.
3. Press and hold the Power button to power the device on.
Alternate Method
Press and hold the volume down button and the power button untill the device power off approximately 10 seconds then release.
Allow several seconds for the reboot Process to complete.


Method 2
1. While You mobile phone is powered on
2. Tap the Apps(Menu) On screen.
3. Navigate to "Settings" and tap to Open it.
4. Drop Down to "Privacy" Option, and Tap "Factory Data reset" Option.
4.Tap On "Reset Phone" to confirm.
